The International Workshop on Oncology Research Methods (ON-COLLAB Brazil) is a five-day, fully funded immersive program organized by the Brazilian Ministry of Health, the University Hospitals Company (EBSERH) and 45 University Hospitals Network.
Taking place December 5-10, 2025, in Atibaia, São Paulo, Brazil, the workshop aims to strengthen research capacity in oncology by connecting national and international experts with early- and mid-career healthcare professionals.
Designed for clinicians, residents, and researchers working in oncology and related fields, ON-COLLAB focuses on developing and refining participants’ clinical and applied research project proposals. Through lectures, hands-on group work, and mentorship from global leaders affiliated with ASCO, EORTC, AORTIC, and Nature Cancer Reviews, attendees will enhance their knowledge in research design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge, with accommodation and meals provided. A total of 24 professionals will be selected, and notably, one-third of places are reserved for applicants from Portuguese-speaking African countries and Latin America.
Registration runs from October 9-29, 2025, and applicants are encouraged to submit a preliminary oncology research proposal to be refined during the program.
