The 19th International Congress on Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS 2027) will take place from April 14–16, 2027, in Leipzig, Germany.

The congress will bring together the global MDS community, including clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, young investigators, and industry representatives, to discuss advances in the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with myelodysplastic syndromes.

The three-day meeting will provide a platform for cutting-edge research, expert-led discussions, scientific symposia, educational sessions, workshops, and abstract presentations. The programme is designed to connect basic, translational, and clinical research and to encourage collaboration across the international MDS community.

MDS 2027 will address the biology and pathogenesis of MDS, advances in diagnosis and molecular characterization, prognostic and predictive factors, emerging treatments, transplantation, supportive care, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in MDS.

Specific disease entities including CHIP, CCUS, childhood MDS, hereditary MDS, MDS with SF3B1/ring sideroblasts, MDS/MPN overlap syndromes, del(5q) MDS, treatment-related MDS, and VEXAS will also be covered.
