The 2nd Annual Global Cancer Research & Innovation Symposium (GCRIS 2026), sponsored by the Association of Value-Based Cancer Care (AVBCC), will take place on 5–6 October 2026 in New York City under the theme “Accelerating Tomorrow’s Cancer Breakthroughs Through Investment and Leading-Edge Science.”

The 1.5-day symposium will connect investors, biotechnology and pharmaceutical leaders, academic researchers, cancer centres, regulators, and clinical partners across the oncology drug-development lifecycle.

Day one will examine the intersection of science and capital, including investment trends, emerging research, and policy changes, while day two will focus on innovative therapies, regulatory pathways, artificial intelligence in drug discovery, and strategies for accelerating promising products into patient care. The programme will also include networking opportunities and presentations from start-up researchers and young investigators supported by Swim Across America.
