The “From Protocol to Publication: A Practical Course in Clinical Research” is an exclusive, in-person training event organized by the European School of Oncology (ESO). Scheduled for 17 to 18 March 2026 in Milan, Italy, this advanced, two-day workshop is reserved only for the ten members of the ESO College who achieve the highest scores in two prerequisite online courses.

Led by Course Leaders Luca Bertolaccini (IT) and Isabelle Schmitt-Opitz (DE/CH), the course offers highly interactive sessions, hands-on workshops, and peer-review simulations designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world research practice, covering every phase from protocol design to publication strategies.
