The 38th European Congress of Pathology (ECP 2026), organized by the European Society of Pathology (ESP) together with the Swedish Society of Pathology, will take place on 12–16 September 2026 at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm, Sweden.

Under the theme “Innovation Driving Excellence in Pathology,” the congress is expected to bring together more than 5,000 pathologists, clinicians, researchers, molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, medical scientists, and industry partners from around the world.

The scientific programme will feature keynote lectures, slide seminars, symposia, interactive workshops, oral and poster presentations, and industry sessions, with particular emphasis on digital pathology, artificial intelligence integration, molecular pathology, and emerging technologies transforming diagnostic practice. Participants may attend in person or virtually, with live and on-demand access to scientific sessions.

The meeting will also include a technical exhibition, networking opportunities, and dedicated educational activities for trainees and specialists across pathology disciplines.
