The ESMO Gastrointestinal Cancers Congress 2027, organized by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), will take place from June 30 to July 3, 2027, at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) in Barcelona, Spain, with online participation also available.

The four-day international congress will bring together medical oncologists, surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiation oncologists, researchers and other healthcare professionals to explore advances in gastrointestinal cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The meeting will address colorectal, gastric, oesophageal, pancreatic, hepatobiliary and other gastrointestinal malignancies.

The scientific programme will feature research presentations, multidisciplinary tumour boards, educational sessions and expert discussions covering emerging therapies, molecular biomarkers, precision medicine and evolving treatment strategies. The congress aims to encourage international collaboration and support improvements in clinical practice and patient care.
