The Clinical Trial Statistics for Non-Statisticians workshop is scheduled for June 9–12, 2026, in Brussels, Belgium. Organized by the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), this four-day educational event is designed to provide non-statisticians and early-career statisticians with a foundational understanding of statistical methods used in the design, conduct, and analysis of cancer clinical trials.

The program includes an optional introductory half-day on probability and statistics, followed by in-depth sessions on phase I–III trial designs, time-to-event endpoints, biomarker-based study designs, and adaptive trials. Participants will engage in “Stat Clinics” – interactive, parallel workshops focused on practical applications such as sample size calculation and survival analysis – to equip them to appraise research and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary clinical teams critically.
