The Translational Research in Clinical Oncology (TRACO) 2026 course, organized by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Center for Cancer Training, will run from September 8 through November 23, 2026, as a 12-session virtual lecture series via Webex.

Designed primarily for NIH postdoctoral and clinical fellows, while open to fellows more broadly, the course provides a comprehensive introduction to how laboratory discoveries are translated into clinical cancer research and patient care.

Topics include cancer biology and treatment, immune checkpoints, cancer genomics, epigenetics, precision medicine, cancer imaging, global cancer and disparities, clinical trials, KRAS, radiation therapy, liquid biopsy, lung and breast cancer, microbiota, theranostics, CAR T-cell therapy, neuroendocrine cancer, prostate cancer, and nanotechnology.

Sessions generally take place on Monday afternoons and include two expert lectures with discussion; recordings are provided to registered participants. A certificate is available upon completion of the required exam and evaluation. Registration is limited to 150 participants, with a deadline of September 4, 2026.
