The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) conference, “Chromosomes in Crisis: From Chromosomal Instability to Catastrophes in Cancer Genomes,” will take place in Berlin, Germany, from November 3–5, 2026.
The conference will bring together experts to explore the mechanisms, consequences, and therapeutic vulnerabilities associated with large-scale genomic rearrangements in cancer. The educational focus is on how chromosomal chaos, from aneuploidy and translocations to chromothripsis and ecDNA formation, drives tumor initiation, evolution, heterogeneity, and resistance to therapy, with the ultimate goal of opening new avenues for clinical intervention.
