The 3rd International CAM Conference (CAMCON 2026): modelling diseases, regeneration, molecular mechanisms and therapy is a specialized scientific event dedicated to the use of the Chorioallantoic Membrane (CAM) model—an alternative in vivo model derived from chicken embryos.

Scheduled for June 30 – July 2, 2026, in Liverpool, UK, the conference addresses technical advancements in oncology, tissue engineering, and drug delivery, with a specific focus on the 3R principles (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement).

Organized by the University of Liverpool’s Egg Facility in partnership with the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), the program covers high-resolution imaging, vascularization studies, and the standardization of protocols for patient-derived xenografts (PDX) within the CAM system.
