Advancing Cancer Research for Latinos and All Populations

The Advancing Cancer Research for Latinos and All Populations conference is a biennial international event scheduled for February 18-20, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.
Hosted by the Mays Cancer Center and the Institute for Health Promotion Research at UT Health San Antonio, this conference addresses the critical health disparities facing Latinos, for whom cancer remains a leading cause of death, and who often face significant barriers to screening, treatment, and palliative care. The summit unites a diverse group of stakeholders – including survivors, caregivers, researchers, and physicians – to translate basic research into clinical best practices and effective community interventions.
