The “Advances in Breast Cancer Surgery — ICG Fluorescence Imaging, Clinical Evidence and Implementation” webinar, organized by the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), will take place on September 10, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM CEST (8:00 PM to 9:00 PM AMT).

The session will explore the evolving role of Indocyanine Green (ICG) fluorescence imaging in breast cancer surgery, including laparoscopic mastectomy, ICG-only sentinel lymph node biopsy, and fluorescence-guided sentinel lymph node identification.

The programme will also discuss the INFINITE trial, which evaluates fluorescence imaging with ICG for sentinel lymph node identification using a hybrid effectiveness-implementation design. Speakers include Elisa York, Vassilis Pitsinis, Emily Postma, and Isabel J. Henskins, with Annemiek Doeksen listed as moderator (TBC).
