The 14th I-BFM Biennial Childhood Leukemia and Lymphoma Symposium

The 14th I-BFM Biennial Childhood Leukemia and Lymphoma Symposium (CLLS) will be held in Budapest, Hungary, on May 10-11, 2025.

This prestigious event has become a cornerstone for the advancement of knowledge and collaboration in the field of childhood hematological malignancies. It provides a unique platform for fellows, researchers, and junior faculty to present and discuss the latest groundbreaking findings in the diagnosis, treatment, and molecular genetics of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL), and myeloid disorders.

The symposium will feature a series of keynote discussions on critical topics, including the role of molecular genetics in diagnosing and treating juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML), the necessity of intensive chemotherapy for curing primary ALL, and the importance of sequencing leukemia patients for cancer predisposition genes. Other significant topics include how molecular genetics complement the staging of pediatric NHL and lessons learned from real-world data on CAR-T cell therapy from the GoCART study. This event promises to foster collaboration and inspire new research directions in the treatment of childhood blood cancers.

Registration is open for the event.

Abstract Submission deadline is March 12, 2025.
