Breaking barriers: ensuring equal cancer care access for diverse communities by SPCC will be held at March 17, 2025, Virtually.

This event focuses on addressing health disparities in cancer care and the importance of achieving health equity for all patients. It highlights the significant impact of social drivers of health such as socioeconomic status, race, and access to resources on patient outcomes, caregivers, and clinical teams. The session will explore how these barriers can be overcome to ensure equal access to treatment and care for everyone, regardless of their background.

The event features presentations from experts, including Nicolò Matteo Luca Battisti, Joseph Gligorov, and Stewart O’Callaghan. The discussions aim to shed light on successful initiatives, explore how far we’ve come in fostering equality in cancer care, and identify the next steps needed to make further progress.
