“We are pleased to introduce the first three offerings in a growing series of free online courses from the Global Cancer Learning Lab. Developed for participants in lower-resource settings, including Africa, these courses aim to build practical knowledge and skills for cancer research, prevention, and care.
- Cancer Clinical Genetics (Oncogenetics): An initiative of the African Oncogenetics Network covering hereditary cancer, genetic counseling and risk assessment, genetic testing, and integration of genetics into clinical care.
- PROMOTE (PROject Management Oversight Training and Education): Practical training in research ethics, regulatory requirements, grant management, and research operations for early-career cancer research professionals based in low- and middle-income countries.
- Geospatial Data Science: Training in the use of geospatial data and open-source tools to study cancer risk, access to care, and outcomes in support of global cancer control.
