Tania Small: I’m Honored to Be Recognized as a 2026 Salute to the Policy Makers Honoree

Tania Small, SVP, Head of Medical Affairs at Bristol Myers Squibb, shared on LinkedIn:

“I’ve never been very good at fitting within other people’s expectations. And I’ve stopped trying.

Being unbound isn’t just about breaking barriers. It’s knowing what to disrupt, what to rebuild, and how to leave the system better because you were in it.

I’m honored and deeply grateful to be recognized by Executive Women of New Jersey as a 2026 Salute to the Policy Makers honoree.

I stand on the shoulders of women who refused to accept the limits placed on them. To those who have seen me, supported me, and lifted me- and so many others- thank you!

Mikki Taylor and Chris T. Pernell, thank you for the truth and energy you brought into the room. And to my team who came to support me, your presence meant everything!

For those of us leading today, it’s our turn to create what doesn’t exist. To change the game so fundamentally that the next generation never has to control themselves to belong.

So that they can own their path.
Use their full power.
And change the world!”
