Ruiling Yuan: Inspiring Physicians Ride to Fuel Cancer Research at LOWVELO26

Ruiling Yuan, Adjunct Assistant Professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, shared on LinkedIn:

“Cancer research brings hope, advances treatment, and saves lives! Every effort makes a difference!

A special shout-out to Dr. Abi Sivasubramanian and Dr. John Kaczmar, who will be riding 27 miles on November 7 for LOWVELO26, a wonderful fundraising event supporting cancer research at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center!

Despite their busy clinical schedules, they continue to find time to give back and support a cause so close to our hearts. Truly inspiring!

Research is the foundation of progress in cancer care. Every discovery, every clinical trial, and every advancement in treatment brings new hope and better outcomes for our patients.

Thank you to everyone riding, volunteering, donating, and supporting cancer research! Every effort counts!

With the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) leadership elections underway, another opportunity to make our voices heard and help shape the future of oncology!

Whether through patient care, research, fundraising, professional engagement, or advocacy, there are so many ways to make a difference!

Advocacy matters! Every voice counts, and every action makes a difference!”

Joanna Metzner-Sadurski, Assistant Professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Founder and Executive Director of Oncology101.org, added:

“Cancer research rocks! Kudos to the physicians Abirami Sivapiragasam John Kaczmar
from Hollings Cancer Center who are taking time out of their busy schedules to ride and raise funds – with 100% of donations going directly to cancer research!

I’ve donated and am cheering you on! Thank you for going the extra mile for our patients.”
