whether the pathway holds up, whether the treatment is tolerated, whether frailty actually predicted the complications it was meant to flag.
A session at SIOG 2026, on 7 November, brings together four oral presentations built on exactly that kind of evidence:
a redesigned decision-making pathway for oesophageal and gastric cancer, fifteen years of real-world data on immune-related adverse events in head and neck cancer, frailty as a predictor of complications after colorectal surgery, and drug interactions in older adults with cancer.
Presenters join from the Netherlands, the United States, Spain, and Ireland.
