“ESMO CONGRESS 2026.
The ESMO Congress 2026 was an extraordinary experience, unlike any other.
First, it was my first Congress attending as a Council Member of ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology making it particularly special. During the opening ceremony, I had the privilege of sitting at the front of the auditorium, a rare opportunity at such a well-attended event.
Another highlight was chairing a global oncology session alongside an outstanding panel. I was pleasantly surprised by the packed auditorium and the audience’s engagement. The insightful questions highlighted the unmet needs and persistent challenges in translating standards of care into everyday clinical practice across many countries worldwide.
My sincere thanks to ESMO Presidents Fabrice Andre and Giuseppe Curigliano for supporting and accepting our session.
Beyond the session, I returned home, as always, enriched with new knowledge, fresh perspectives and valuable connections.
Already looking forward to ESMO Congress 2027 in Barcelona.”
