Dr. Sanjay S. Patel is an Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Director of the Hematopathology Fellowship Program at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
His expertise and research focus on hematopathology, with particular emphasis on hematopoiesis, NPM1-mutated acute myeloid leukemia, pre-leukemic states, and classic Hodgkin lymphoma.
Dr. Patel serves as Vice President of the New York Pathological Society and is a member of the Scientific Committee on Hematopathology and Clinical Laboratory Hematology for the American Society of Hematology.
