David Atallah: Honored to Receive 2025 Researcher Award and Outstanding Career

David Atallah, Professor at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, President of the Lebanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Humbled and Honored | 2025 Researcher Award and Outstanding Career from Rector Professor Salim Daccache and Vice-Rector Professor Richard Maroun.
I am profoundly grateful to have received the 2025 Researcher Award, a distinction that fills me with both pride and humility.
My deepest thanks go first and foremost to Rector Professor Salim Daccache, whose exemplary leadership has been a guiding force for our university. His unwavering dedication to academic values, ethical governance, and human-centered vision continues to inspire an entire generation of educators and researchers. Under his stewardship, USJ remains a beacon of excellence and resilience in Lebanon and beyond.
I would also like to pay a special tribute to Vice-Rector Professor Richard Maroun, whose strategic vision, academic rigor, and constant support have had a truly transformative impact. His commitment to enhancing research quality and international visibility has propelled our university to new heights. His encouragement and personal involvement in our academic output are invaluable to all of us striving to publish and contribute meaningfully to the global scientific community.
I also warmly thank Dean Professor Élie Nemr. His encouragement and call to submit my dossier were pivotal in this recognition. His constant support for faculty success does not go unnoticed.
This award is not just a personal milestone—it is a reflection of the outstanding academic ecosystem fostered by our leadership and the collective energy of those who believe in the mission of research and education.
With sincere gratitude and renewed motivation to contribute further.”
