“I’m very pleased to share that I’m starting a new position as Nordic Director, Head of Evidence and Health Data at AstraZeneca.
Before beginning this next chapter, I want to take the opportunity to thank my colleagues at Novo Nordisk. It has been a genuine privilege to work with such talented and committed people, united by a shared ambition to improve the lives of millions of people living with diabetes and obesity.
From my first role in the Swedish Medical Affairs team to later leading Real-World Evidence across Europe and Canada, I have had the opportunity to work across teams, functions and markets, and to see first-hand what can be achieved when strong science is matched by a clear sense of purpose. That sense of purpose – and the willingness to go the extra mile for patients – is something I will carry with me.
I am particularly grateful to the managers and mentors who placed their trust in me, challenged me, and supported my development along the way: Susanne Skovgaard Nickelsen, Nils Ekström, Maria Eklind, Maximiliano D., Frederik Dahl Bang, Annika Bacchin-Bertling, Kathrine Poulsen.
At AstraZeneca, I will lead Evidence and Health Data across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, and join the Nordic Medical and Regulatory Leadership Team. I’m excited to work with my new colleagues and to contribute to strengthening how we leverage the world-class health data in the Nordics to generative evidence that drive decisions and, ultimately, better outcomes for patients across the Nordics and beyond.
