The award recognises Professor Jeff Dunn AO’s transformational impact on cancer control and patient-centred care in Queensland and abroad over a distinguished 40-year career.”

Professor Dunn is PCFA’s Chief of Mission and Head of Research, the immediate Past-President of the Union for International Cancer Control, and the Chair of Cancer Survivorship at the University of Southern Queensland.
The prestigious award aims to recognise and honour extraordinary individuals who have made a meaningful contribution to the history and development of Queensland.
PCFA National Chairman Adjunct Associate Professor Steve Callister AM commended the Professor for his contribution to community-based cancer control.
