
James Lynam Started New Role at Cancer Institute NSW as Senior Clinical Advisor

“We are excited to welcome Associate Professor James Lynam to the Cancer Institute NSW in the role of Senior Clinical Advisor.
A/Prof Lynam is a practising oncologist specialising in brain, genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancers with an active role in cancer clinical trials.
He is the current Chair of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, the Clinical Cancer Research Network at Hunter New England Local Health District and has held several key national training and advisory roles with organisations including the The Royal Australasian College of Physicians and ANZUP Cancer Trials Group Limited.
A/Prof Lynam also recently served as Head of Medical Oncology at Calvary Health Care Mater Hospital in Newcastle. A/Prof Lynam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in research, clinical education and clinical leadership, and we are thrilled to have him join us.
