Biniam Kidane: The IASLC Grant is Pivotal Step Toward Advancing My Translational Lung Cancer Research
International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“ ‘This grant will provide critical seed funding to build on and validate the promising results my translational research team generated in my early career. With prior early-career support, we developed both human and experimental in vivo models to study treatment-induced inflammation and its role in early cancer recurrence. My goal is to expand this work into a large, multi-center translational study using an iterative bench-to-bedside-to-bench approach. However, to reach that stage, we first need transitional funding to refine and confirm our models as essential groundwork. The IASLC grant is a pivotal step toward bringing this vision to reality.’
