“I’m excited to share that I was nominated and confirmed to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology, representing member-at-large.
CAPO’s mission is to foster the development, testing, implementation and sustainability of best practices in psychological, social, physical and spiritual well-being among individuals affected by cancer through:
- Innovation and education
- Research and knowledge translation
- Clinical and community care
- Leadership and advocacy.
I presently sit on CAPO’s Research Advisory Committee and will be joining the 2027 CAPO Conference Organizing Committee.
Research, policy and program development in psychosocial oncology is my passion. I look forward to my collaboration on the Board and with all CAPO members to help improve the lives of people living with cancer.”
