Florian Lordick: I’m taking over the editorship of the journal DieOnkologie (Springer)
Florian Lordick, Professor of Medicine at the University of Leipzig, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It is with great pleasure that I take over the editorship of the journal DieOnkologie (Springer), the official organ of the Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft e. V. (German Cancer Society).
My greatest thanks go to Klaus Höffken, with whom I was able to work closely over wonderful years and learn a lot from him.
He will continue to support our editorial team.
I am looking forward to working with the co-editors Christiane Bruns, Ute Ganswindt, Heinz Schmidberger and Michael Ghadimi.
We all live and burn for cancer medicine and know about the educational and scientific importance of the journal DieOnkologie in the German-speaking world.
The same applies to numerous colleagues (the ‘who’s who’ of German-speaking oncology) who make up the editorial board; they shape and shape the diverse sections and subject areas of the journal.
We see ourselves as well supported by the Springer Nature editorial team, highly professional and committed led by Stefanie Schumacher-Schmidt.”
