”I am delighted to share that I have been appointed as the new Director of the preclinical Immunology Program at our institute (co-chaired with scientific director Luigi Maria Terracciano for the clinical immunology).
A translational immuno-oncology mission to foster the development of investigator-initiated clinical trials along with multiomic profiling of patients’ samples is already in the pipeline. Two trials will be started soon, one of them being supported by the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) Clinical Innovator grant. I am especially grateful to Luigi Maria Terracciano, my predecessor Maria Rescigno, Michela Matteoli and Gianluigi Condorelli for the support.
