“The past eight years of my professional journey have been instrumental in shaping my career and, more importantly, the physician and surgeon I am today. For that, I will always be deeply grateful to the organization and, above all, to the many people who supported, challenged, and helped me along the way.
During these years, I had the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone, take on new challenges, and prove my capabilities in an unfamiliar territory. I hope that my experience will inspire others to find the courage to do the same: to challenge themselves, embrace opportunities, and pursue what may initially seem beyond their reach.
Today, I begin a new journey, one that I have pursued for many years. I am honored to serve as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Jefferson – Abington and the Chief of Cancer Services at the Asplundh Cancer Pavilion.
My vision is to bring together knowledge, expertise, experience, and a proven track record of innovation to help ensure that our patients receive the most advanced and comprehensive care available, with the ultimate goal of achieving the best possible outcomes and, whenever possible, a cure.
I look forward to working with an exceptional team to further develop the Department of Surgery at Abington and the Asplundh Cancer Pavilion into organizations recognized for excellence, innovation, collaboration, and patient centered care sought after at the local, national, and international levels.
