Brittan McClanahan, General Manager of Biopharma Partnerships at Veracyte inc., shared on LinkedIn:
“After an extraordinary chapter at BostonGene, the time has come to move on to what comes next: GM, Biopharma at Veracyte, Inc..
I joined BostonGene to build the commercial function from the ground up, and across that chapter the work took shape through enterprise partnerships that I’m proud to have helped architect, work that began as small proofs of concept and grew into multi-year committed programs, including collaboration on a multiple myeloma franchise. Each of those partnerships was the product of many people’s work, and I’m better for having been part of building them.
Those chapters taught me something I carry into this next one: the hardest, most valuable work in this field is standing something up before it exists, not maintaining what’s already built.
That’s exactly the opportunity in front of me now. I’m joining Veracyte, Inc. to build its biopharma partnerships function from day one and I couldn’t be more excited about it.
A BIG thank you is owed here too. Michael Hensley has one of the sharpest networking instincts I’ve ever encountered, and his introduction to his manager Bonnie Hoffman is what ultimately led me to John Leite, now my manager at Veracyte and someone who championed me through this entire process.”
