Amil Družić: The Power of Collaboration Across Borders to Advance Cancer Care
Amil Družić, Oncology and Radiotherapy Resident at the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Grateful for an enriching observership at the ICM – Montpellier Cancer Institute.
In May, I had the privilege to complete an European School of Oncology supported observership at the ICM – Montpellier Cancer Institute.
My time at the Clinical Trial Unit, under the guidance of Dr. Diego Tosi was an invaluable opportunity to deepen my understanding of clinical research operations and multidisciplinary oncology.
A highlight of the experience was meeting Dr. Antoine Plays and visiting the Radiotherapy Department, where I gained valuable exposure to their expertise, workflow, and particularly their approach to head and neck radiotherapy, which offered me important practical insights for my clinical work.
Many thanks to the European School of Oncology (ESO) for making this observership possible, and to everyone at ICM for their generosity in sharing knowledge and experience.
Such exchanges are a reminder of the power of collaboration across borders to advance cancer care.”
