“We are delighted to announce Megan Varlow as interim CEO of Cancer Council Australia, following the departure of Professor Tanya Buchanan.

Megan’s experience in cancer control, standing within our Federation and with our many partners, means we are in very capable hands.

She will be supported by the talented and dedicated Cancer Council Australia executive team, as she continues to serve as both Director of Cancer Control Policy and interim CEO.

Having previously served as interim CEO, Megan brings extensive relevant knowledge and experience to the position.

We would like to acknowledge the significant contribution of Professor Tanya Buchanan and thank her, once again, for her exceptional leadership. We wish her all the very best as she takes up her new role.”
