“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Executive Director, Pediatric Development Strategy, Clinical Research Group of Thermo Fisher Scientific at Thermo Fisher Scientific!
I am thrilled to embark on my next chapter, filled with the exciting opportunity to drive success in pediatric drug development with Drs. Susan McCune, Debra Schaumberg, and the talented team at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. My first month has been a pleasure and honor, and I am thankful to be collaborating with the amazing team at the PPD clinical research business of Thermo Fisher.
I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my Pfizer Pediatric Center partners, Dr. Janelle Burnham, Dr. Jodi Muscal, and Megan Gorski. Your support was instrumental in helping us all navigate this transition. I want to thank Drs. Susan McCune, Holly Robinson, Lynne Yao, Gil Burckart, Dionna Green, Lisa McLeod and others. Your specific contributions and unwavering encouragement were a beacon of hope during a challenging time, and I am grateful for your belief in my future in Pediatric Drug Development.
Thank you to I-ACT for Children, Vivianna Guzman, Executive Director, Dr. Albert John, Laura Kemp-Lopez, and the I-ACT team for allowing me to consult with you after I left Pfizer. Your passion and work for pediatric drug development are admirable. I enjoyed my time with you and hope I contributed a small amount to your essential work. I am deeply grateful for your support and the opportunity to be part of your team.
As said in my December post, new chapters bring great hope. I had no idea in December of the opportunities ahead; I am beyond thankful. Substantial work is still to be done for our neonates and children in drug development.
We look forward to our continued partnership with children’s hospitals globally, central research offices, principal investigators, coordinators, and companies bringing medicines to market. We are ready and eager to continue our vital work in drug development for neonates and children!”
