I cannot wait to get started next month in this pivotal role!
Why did I say yes to Advocate Health?
- Advocate Health is the nation’s third largest nonprofit healthcare enterprise with a national multistate footprint.
- Advocate Health operates nearly 70 hospitals and over 1000 ambulatory centers, with almost 155,000 employees who care for close to 6 million patients annually.
- In many communities across its national footprint, Advocate Health delivery sites are THE safety net for marginalized and underserved communities.
- Advocate Health administered $6 Billion in community benefit last year, with a dedication to community wired into the organization’s DNA.
- Advocate Health is deeply committed to delivering the best health outcomes while making health care more accessible, equitable, affordable and innovative for all.
- This role will enable me to bring my decades of deep healthcare expertise to a powerful health system, working with clinical, corporate, academic and community leaders to design and integrate a health equity strategy throughout the entire health system, including both the care delivery system and the academic learning system.
