Zouina Sarfraz, Postdoctoral Fellow at Miami Cancer Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Presented my work on machine learning in glioma classification at the ASCO Annual Meeting 2025.
We found that machine learning models demonstrate moderately strong diagnostic performance in distinguishing glioma grades, with noteworthy sensitivity and specificity across different approaches. However, variability in methods and a lack of standardization underscore the need for more rigorous validation before clinical adoption.
