Zoë Mullan: Redefining implementation science for global health decolonisation
Zoë Mullan, Editor-in-Chief of The Lancet Global Health and I & D Lead for The Lancet Group, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Call for papers.
We invite contributions on how implementation science could be refocused to improve equity and move towards decolonisation of global health.
We seek explorations of questions such as:
- How can implementation research be made useful, applicable, and timely for policy makers in LMICs?
- How should rigour in implementation science be understood?
- What existing and emerging theories, methods, conceptual and empirical approaches can be used for equitable and participatory implementation science in global health?
- How can real-world implementation, co-production, and power sharing be measured and replicated over time and across contexts?
- What role can emerging technologies play in equity-centred implementation science?
We invite readers to submit Comments, Correspondence, and Viewpoints via our online manuscript submission system by July 31, 2025″
