“50 Girls to Benefit from Scholarships at Miva Open University
The Umaru Shinkafi Legacy and Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu Foundations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), committing to sponsor 50 girls from Sokoto, Zamfara, and Kebbi States at Miva Open University Northern Nigeria’s premier online university.
This collaboration is an exciting opportunity to empower girls from the educationally disadvantaged states, using digital technology. Each foundation will sponsor 25 students after a vetting process led by the university.
This partnership honors the legacies of two men who championed service and education and reinforces our collective commitment to ensure that no girl is left behind. With Miva Open University innovative online platform, these young women will gain the tools, confidence, and opportunities to become leaders in their communities and beyond.
