“Honored to set the stage at a webinar organised by Movement Health Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative on Digital Solutions for Empowering Women to Live Cancer-Free. Movement Health Foundation is dedicated to technology, they are dedicated to gathering local resources and stakeholders to improve health indices.
I shared the story of Amina and million other women like her – who have inadequate access to screening, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. These women dominate the global South, and are further weighed down by poor education, misinformation, stigma, cultural beliefs, gender bias and other socio-cultural barriers.
This convening marked a critical milestone in Movement Health Foundation, Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Commitment to Action – a bold vision to transform women’s health. Our goals Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) aligns with the work of Movement health. Using local assets, to translate global initiatives into country led action.
The challenges are great, but our collaboration will be greater.”
