Celebrating the remarkable contributions of women and girls in science – ECO
European Cancer Organisation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today we celebrate the remarkable contributions of women and girls in science!
ECO’s ‘Women and Cancer’ report provides specific recommendations for national governments, professional societies, and universities across Europe to support and advance their participation in the field:
– Establish gender equality targets and strategies;
– Promote the participation of girls and women in STEM education; and
– Support marginalised women through job fairs, internships, career counselling.
