“A Heartfelt Story of Courage: Meet Blessing, Our Inspiring Course Participant

Dear PAPERI Community,

It is with great pride and honor that I introduce you to one of our incredible participants in the Policy Advocacy on Genetics and Genomics course: Ms.Blessing, Young African Woman and a breast cancer survivor from Nigeria. Her participation means the world to me and is a profound reminder of WHY we continue to learn, grow, and advocate for change.

Blessing has graciously allowed us to share her 1-minute application video, which touched my heart deeply. Her resilience, determination, and willingness to join us in this journey are a testament to the human spirit’s strength. She is a living example of courage and hope, teaching us that no challenge is too great to overcome when we remain steadfast and dedicated.

As the African proverb says:
‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.’
