New practice guidelines on pulmonary resection for oligometastatic NSCLC – The Society of Thoracic Surgeons
The Society of Thoracic Surgeons shared a post on X:
“In the latest issue of STS News, discover new practice guidelines on pulmonary resection for oligometastatic NSCLC, developed by thoracic surgical oncologists from the STS Workforce on Evidence-Based Surgery, chaired by Dr. Mara Antonoff.”
Mara Antonoff, Associate Professor of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared this post, adding:
“I’ve never been more excited about any other publication. These guidelines are a key stepping stone toward incorporating surgery into treatment for stage IV NSCLC, providing more options for more patients.”
