Who Says Life Slows Down After a Cancer Diagnosis? – The Max Foundation
The Max Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Who says life slows down after a cancer diagnosis?
Meet Darayus, our unstoppable rider and Friends of Max City Chapter Leader from Mumbai—diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in 2006, and still revving full throttle through life!
Last year, he didn’t just ride—he led a powerful rally for CML awareness, journeying with his biker crew from Mumbai through scenic roads of India. Sporting Chai For Cancer tees and flags, they weren’t just chasing the horizon—they were chasing hope, awareness, and change.
‘This rally isn’t just about the ride. It’s about highlighting the needs and triumphs of those living with CML. Let’s show the world that we can live life to the fullest, no matter the challenges!’
Thanks to targeted therapy, CML patients today are not just surviving—they’re thriving and rising above cancer.
This World Motorcycle Day, let’s celebrate people like Darayus who ride not just for the thrill—but for a cause. Because living with CML doesn’t mean giving up on life—it means living it as vibrantly as ever.”
