The Max Foundation Highlighted Satish Tulsidás and Breast Cancer Care at Central Hospital of Maputo in Mozambique
The Max Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Welcome to a monthly feature spotlighting one of the most critical components to creating access to treatment: our extraordinary medical partners in over 80 countries around the world. They are truly impacting lives with compassion and innovation.
This month, we begin at Central Hospital of Maputo – Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics (Hospital Central de Maputo – Departamento de Ginecologia e Obstetricia) in Mozambique with Dr. Satish Tulsidás. A medical oncologist whose roots trace back to India, Dr. Tulsidas is a pillar of strength and care for women living with advanced breast cancer.
In his own words:
“We treat about 200 breast cancer patients here. Many arrive very sick, often with metastatic disease. It’s a challenge – but with the support of partners like The Max Foundation, we’re seeing real progress. Our patients are doing better, and we are hopeful.”
Join us in celebrating the work of Dr. Tulsidas and the many medical partners who inspire us every day.”
