Shant Apelian: An incredible clinical externship at Tampa General Hospital USF ObGyn
Shant Apelian, Postdoctoral Researcher in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am thrilled to share that I have completed an incredible month-long clinical externship at Tampa General Hospital (USF ObGyn), and I could not be more grateful for the experience.
During my time there, I had the opportunity to actively participate in clinic and medical rounds, attend educational lectures, observe robotic laparoscopy and other surgeries, and contribute to research with the GYN ONC team.
A special thank you to Dr. Vaagn Andikyan MD for providing me with this opportunity and being an amazing mentor throughout the experience. I’m also deeply grateful to the entire TGH GYN ONC team for their support and guidance.
In addition, it was a wonderful month to be in Tampa, enjoying the beautiful weather!
I’m excited to expanding my knowledge to better care for women’s health in the future.”
