Sumanta Pal congratulates Cristiane Bergerot on Lifetime Clinical Excellence Award from IPOS
Sumanta Pal, Professor and Vice Chair of Academic Affairs at City of Hope, shared a post on X:
“Huge congrats to my dear friend and colleague, Cristiane Bergerot, on the Lifetime Clinical Excellence Award from IPOS. So well deserved. We’ve known each other for over a decade (a pic below from our early days together at City Of Hope). A couple of things that make her stand out:
- She works nonstop (she often joins my research calls until 1 am GMT-3!!!)
- She’s never lost her cool in all the time I’ve known her
- She is a phenomenal writer and drafts quality manuscripts with speed and efficiency
- She is a tremendous team player who is now teaching many of my trainees how to do PRO research
- She has emerged as a thought leader in the HRQOL space for kidney cancer and other GU malignancies through her exceptional collaborative spirit with the likes of Ulka Vaishampayan, Laurence Albiges, Toni Choueiri, Tom Powles, Sarah Psutka, and so many others!
Thank you, Cris, for being such an inspiration and congrats on this award!”
Dr. Sumanta K. Pal congratulated Dr. Cristiane Bergerot on receiving the Lifetime Clinical Excellence Award from the International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS). He highlighted her dedication, leadership in health-related quality of life (HRQOL) research, mentorship of trainees, and her collaborative contributions to kidney cancer and genitourinary oncology research.
