“On Friday, March 25th, I had the absolute pleasure of partnering with St. Baldrick’s Foundation for Alpha Kappa Psi’s 5th annual Cocky and Bald event.
After months of fundraising, planning, and coordination alongside Felicia ‘LiLi’ Gayle, we brought this incredible day to life. With over 25 shavees, hundreds of attendees, and an amazing community effort, we successfully reached our fundraising goal.
Together, we raised over $30,000 – enough to fund clinical trials for three children, giving them a fighting chance at a cure. St. Baldrick’s mission is to advance promising treatments, support survivors in leading long and healthy lives, and ultimately find a cure for all children battling cancer. I am honored to have played a small part in furthering this cause.
This achievement is one of the proudest moments of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed. A huge thank you to St. Baldrick’s Foundation for this opportunity and to every person who helped make this event so impactful.”
