“Snapshot has officially launched.

We are thrilled to announce the successful Kick-Off meeting of the Snapshot project, held in Greece on Friday, April 4th. This meeting marks the beginning of an inspiring journey to explore and promote therapeutic photography as a psychosocial support tool for cancer survivors across Europe.

What is Snapshot?
Snapshot is an Erasmus+ project aiming to integrate photography into cancer care as a powerful medium for emotional expression, self-reflection and healing. Through art-based interventions and research, the project seeks to raise awareness, encourage adoption and embed therapeutic photography into social prescribing frameworks.

The KickOff: A creative and collaborative start
The meeting brought together our passionate consortium of wonderful partners, who are more than ready to bring this innovative approach to life. Together, we will share knowledge, co-create tools and empower cancer survivors through creative expression. Snapshot not only fosters emotional well-being but also strives to influence policies that prioritize holistic and patient-centered care. By spreading the impact of Snapshot across Europe, we are advocating for a more compassionate, modern and humanized healthcare system.

On Friday, April 4th, we held our official kick-off meeting and had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Snapshot team – a group of partners who will share knowledge, co-create tools and empower cancer survivors through creative expression and community support.
