Sami (Papacek) Mansfield: 4 lifestyle pillars that can transform patient outcomes
Sami (Papacek) Mansfield, Founder of Cancer Wellness for Life, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Only 7% of adults in the U.S. are in good metabolic health.
Are your patients among them?
Most Americans are battling high blood pressure, elevated blood sugar, unhealthy cholesterol, or excess weight—all major drivers of poor metabolic and heart health. As healthcare professionals, we see the impact of these factors every day, and it’s clear that addressing them is critical to reducing the burden of chronic disease.
At Cancer Wellness for Life, we’re not just about empowering individuals—we work with organizations and healthcare systems to design and implement sustainable, evidence-based programs that drive meaningful outcomes.
Why?
Because metabolic health isn’t just about numbers on a chart—it’s about building healthier communities, improving quality of life, and reducing long-term healthcare costs.
4 lifestyle pillars that can transform patient outcomes:
- Eat Smart: Educate patients to focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods like vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Small, achievable changes can create lasting impacts.
- Move More: Help patients incorporate movement into their daily lives, whether it’s walking after meals, strength training, or 15 minutes of activity a day to improve insulin sensitivity and heart health.
- Sleep Well: Highlight the importance of quality sleep (7–9 hours per night) to reset the body and support blood sugar, hormones, and cardiovascular health.
- Stress Less: Provide strategies for managing chronic stress, such as mindfulness, breathwork, or relaxation techniques, to improve metabolic function and overall health.
What we do:
Through our consulting services, we collaborate with healthcare organizations to build customized lifestyle programs that integrate seamlessly into clinical workflows.
Our focus is on sustainability and measurable outcomes, ensuring that programs not only engage patients but also deliver long-term results for providers and systems alike.
Let’s work together to change the statistic—because 7% is not enough. Whether you’re looking to empower patients in the clinic or scale wellness initiatives across your organization, we’re here to help.
Ready to create a program with real impact?
Let’s connect and start building a healthier future together.”
