Sahar Mansour: First Time at OncoEgypt Conference: A Remarkable Experience
Sahar Mansour, Professor of Radiology in the Women’s Imaging Unit at Kasr El Ainy Hospital, Cairo University, posted the following on LinkedIn:
“First Time at OncoEgypt Conference: A Remarkable Experience.
I recently had the distinct honor of attending the OncoEgypt Conference in Alexandria for the first time. This event marked a significant milestone in my professional journey as a university professor and provided an enriching platform to engage with leading experts in oncology.
I was deeply honored to receive an invitation from Dr. Mohamed Fawzi, Advisor to the Minister of Health (مستشار وزير الصحة), to participate in the “AI in Healthcare” session organized by the General Administration of Radiology at the Ministry of Health & Population – Egypt (الإدارة العامة للأشعة بوزارة الصحة).
During the session, I contributed by focusing on the detection of breast carcinoma, a condition often overlooked by radiologists. The discussion, moderated by Dr. Fawzi, was both insightful and inspiring, highlighting the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in improving diagnostic accuracy and enhancing patient outcomes.
I would also like to acknowledge the wonderful company of my colleague and companion in the Egyptian Society of Breast Imaging (EGSBI), Nevien Fares. Your presence and collaboration made this experience even more enriching.”
