Paul Hakimata: Discussing the Power of Precision Medicine at GO2 for Lung Cancer Foundation Event
Paul Hakimata, Specialist of Molecular Genomics at Memorial Healthcare System and Founder of sLAM Workflows, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last night, I had the humbling experience of joining a panel discussion on precision medicine hosted by the GO2 for Lung Cancer Foundation. This event was focused on what matters most – the patient journey. From diagnosis to treatment, we explored how advances in genomics and targeted therapies are transforming the way we approach lung cancer.
Precision medicine allows us to tailor treatments based on a person’s unique genetic makeup, providing more effective and personalized care. It’s remarkable how far we’ve come – and yet, there’s still more to be done.
I’m grateful to GO2 for creating platforms like this, where patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals can come together, share stories, and build support networks.
Please share it with your networks. Encourage friends and family to ask about lung cancer screenings. Early detection truly saves lives.”
